Gems廃止とSkills移行 公式11件と実機
Google の Workspace Updates ブログと管理者ヘルプは、Business・Enterprise で Gems が作成・編集・利用できなくなり、Workspace Studio の「Ask a Gem」ステップを含むフローが止まる時期を「No sooner than March 1, 2027」（早くとも2027年3月1日）と書いており、確定日としては書いていません。それまでの日程は、Workspace の Skills が2026年10月5日（即時リリース）と10月19日（計画的リリース）から、Gemini アプリの Skills が10月13日から順次提供され、11月17日に Gems が Gemini アプリの設定パネルへ移る、と書かれています。

Gems はいつ使えなくなると書かれているか
Business・Enterprise については、#1 と #2 が「No sooner than March 1, 2027」（早くとも2027年3月1日）と書いています。この日以降について書かれているのは、Gems の作成・編集・利用ができなくなること、Gemini アプリの設定パネルから消えること、「Ask a Gem」ステップを含むフローが止まること、残った Gems が Skills の下書きに自動で移されることの4つです。その前の2026年11月17日には、Gems が Gemini アプリの設定パネルへ移ると書かれています。

Gems が止まるまでに何をしておく必要があると Google は書いているか
管理者向けには、#2 の「What administrators need to do」が、利用者への日程の周知、Skills を有効にして早めの利用を促すこと、重要な Gems を手で Skills に作り直すよう作成者に促すこと、「Ask a Gem」を含むフローの置き換えを所有者に指示すること、教育機関では移行ガイドを配ることを「we recommend」（勧める）の形で挙げています。利用者向けには、#6 が「Ask a Gem」ステップを2027年3月より前に「Ask Gemini」ステップへ置き換えるよう書き、#4 が自動移行より早く使い始めたい場合の手での作り直しの手順を、#1 が Workspace で使う場合は Workspace でも作り直す必要があることを書いています。

管理者は何を設定できると書かれているか
書かれている設定は3つです。#5 は Workspace Studio と Gemini in Workspace の Skills を使えるかどうか（「Skills > Create and use skills」）、#9 は Gem の共有（「Gem sharing」の「Allow users to share Gems」）、#10 は Workspace Studio の Skills を組織の外へ共有できるかどうか（「Skills > Sharing outside your domain」）を、それぞれ管理コンソールで変えられると書いています。3ページとも既定値は書いておらず、#5 と #10 は選択肢の文言も書いていません。

Skills を使えるかどうか（#5）
#5 の手順の各段階は次のとおりです（各段階に付いている補足の文は省いています。原文は #5 を参照）。
- In the Google Admin console, go to Menu Apps Google Workspace Workspace Studio.
- Requires having the Service Settings administrator privilege.
- Click Skills > Create and use skills.
- (Optional) To apply the setting only to some users, at the side, select an organizational unit (often used for departments) or configuration group (advanced).
- Choose an option.
- Click Save. Or, you might click Override for an organizational unit.
このほか #5 は「If you turn off skills, users can't use any existing skills or access the skills page in Studio.」「Changes can take up to 24 hours but typically happen more quickly.」と書いています。#2 は管理者に「Make sure skills are turned on for your organization.」と書いており、このうち「skills are turned on」の部分は #5（/admin/studio/turn-skills-on-or-off）へのリンクです。#5 の設定は、ページ名のとおり「Studio and Gemini in Workspace」の Skills についてのものです。
Gem の共有（#9）
#9 は、管理者が制御できるものとして「share Gems with other people in your organization」と「use Gems that have been shared with them」の2つを挙げています。組織の外への共有については、「Shared Gems are stored and shared in Google Drive, so the sharing settings for Drive also apply to Gems. This means if you allow people in your organization to share documents outside your organization, they can also share Gems outside your organization.」と書き、Drive の外部共有の設定に従うとしています。
設定をオフにしたときについて、#9 は「Important: If you turn this setting off, Gems will no longer be shareable from the Gemini app. However, previously shared Gems will still be accessible and shareable from within Drive.」と書いています。適用単位は組織部門または設定グループで、「Group settings override organizational units.」とあります。反映には「Changes can take up to 24 hours but typically happen more quickly.」と書いています。#9 には、#5 にある「Supported editions for this feature」の記載はありません。
自動移行との関係では、#2 が「Drive permissions and sharing settings applied to original Gems transfer to the corresponding skills.」と書いています（上の「既存の Gems は自動で Skills になると書かれているか」の表）。#11（PDF）の10ページ目の比較表は、「Share via Google Drive」の行に Gems・Skills の両方とも可の印を付け、「Make a copy」の行は Gems が可、Skills が不可の印で「Download, reupload, and customize as a new skill」と書いています。
Skills の外部共有（#10）
#10 は「As an administrator, you can control if people in your organization can share skills they create in Google Workspace Studio with people outside your organization.」と書いています。対象は Workspace Studio で作った Skills です。リンクで共有したときについて「the person with the link gets a copy that includes the owner's setup, such as text they entered, email addresses, and links to files in Drive. Sharing doesn't change access permissions to things like calendars, files, and meetings.」とあります。
#10 は「Users designated as under 18 can't use AI features in Workspace Studio. This includes creating and sharing skills.」とも書いています。適用単位について、#10 の手順は「select an organizational unit」とだけ書いており、#5 と #9 にある「configuration group」の語はありません。

Skills はどのプランで使えると書かれているか
